Responsibilities:
- Support Program Management in driving on‑time delivery of all customer products through proactive schedule tracking and issue resolution.
- Coordinate and lead communications between Production, Supply Chain, Program Management, Shipping and Receiving.
- Collect and analyze data to prepare schedules and special reports.
- Monitor and report order progress to ensure customer delivery expectations are met and risks are escalated early. Assist in rework disposition and flow into production supporting MRB efforts.
- Identify and work inactive or obsolete products through rework or scrap.
- Participate in morning stand ups discussing potential issues, upcoming delivery, and other insights that may be beneficial to customer delivery and operational execution.
- Support customer relationship with status and updates, including but not limited to status requests, reporting, calls and visits.
- Support Sourcing and Shipping activities as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years in a customer service role, preferably in aerospace.
- Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations/Export Administration Regulations (ITAR/EAR) clearance is required.
- Must demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills.
- Must demonstrate good time management skills.
- Must display a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
- Strong preference will be given to individuals with experience in manufacturing – especially within the aerospace industry.
Work Environment and Job Functions:
The office is located in a manufacturing facility. As such, while the primary environment will be an office setting, the position will require frequent visits to the production floor where the following conditions may apply:
- May occasionally work in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 60 degrees.
- May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- May be required to access elevated surfaces either by stairs or ladder.
- Noise level in the work environment may require use of hearing protection.
This position will require an employee to perform the following functions effectively.
- Effective use a computer keyboard.
- Effective use of telephone and other applicable electronic communication equipment.
- View and read spreadsheets, and other written documents, as well as computer monitors.
- Verbal communication with plant personnel and management.
- Lifting and carrying a minimum of 10 lbs.
