Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Program Analyst to join our team in Arlington, VA, with potential for hybrid work. The Program Analyst will support international cybersecurity and infrastructure engagements, policy initiatives, and partnerships for a federal customer. This role will work closely with government leadership and international affairs professionals to coordinate engagements, develop briefing materials, conduct research, and advance international priorities.
The Program Analyst will:
- Support implementation of international strategies, priorities, and initiatives through engagement with foreign partners, interagency organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Plan and support bilateral and multilateral meetings, international visits, exchanges, exercises, training activities, and other engagements.
- Coordinate with U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, international organizations, NGOs, academia, and private-sector stakeholders.
- Research and monitor international policy, cybersecurity, economic, and geopolitical developments affecting assigned countries, regions, or organizations.
- Develop briefing books, talking points, issue papers, readouts, decision and information memoranda, presentations, reports, biographies, and other executive-level materials.
- Prepare government officials for international meetings, speaking engagements, travel, and other engagements.
- Document engagement outcomes, track commitments and follow-up actions, and proactively coordinate next steps.
- Develop detailed international trip schedules and coordinate meeting, transportation, lodging, interpretation, and other engagement requirements.
- Support cooperative projects, capacity-building initiatives, and interagency activities, including development of proposals, budgets, reports, and implementation tracking.
- Monitor emerging issues and recommend opportunities for international engagement.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required and occasionally support virtual engagements outside normal business hours to accommodate international time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or applicable years of experience in lieu of a degree)
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Public Trust required; TS/SCI security clearance preferred
- Experience in international affairs, foreign policy, cybersecurity, national security, government relations, program support, or a related field.
- Strong research, writing, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce high-quality materials under tight deadlines.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree or applicable years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Public Trust security clearance
- Experience in international affairs, foreign policy, cybersecurity, national security, government relations, program support, or a related field
- Strong research, writing, briefing, and stakeholder engagement skills
