WORK HOURS REQUIREMENT  4:00AM - 12:30PM Monday – Friday. 

Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers.

Peak Season (July-December) Requirements

Mandatory overtime which may include some Saturdays and Sundays.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The BSN Sports Production Team is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor for the Digital Fusion production team. 

As a member of the BSN Sports team, The Production Supervisor is a critical role within our production department. The Production Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining daily goals of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Main objective is to lead the production floor towards completion of the daily schedule.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Oversee production floor employees and ensure they are adhering to the weekly schedule
  • Striving to make sure the delivery schedule is being achieved daily, while maintaining the highest quality
  • Monitor productivity levels, to ensure daily metric is met by each employee
  • Oversee the training of new employees or new processes
  • Innovate with new ideas, procedures while trying to lower overall cost per unit
  • Manage employee relations and expectations
  • Send out attendance updates, answer email inbox for department, and prepare end of shift reports
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming working environment in a Lean culture for all team members
  • Communicate with Team Lead and team members to resolve issues to attain daily productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Identify problems, find, and implement solutions to improve processes and meet goals
  • Ensures positive employee relations by encouraging feedback and active coaching
  • Participates in building teams and developing members
  • Maintains attendance records and approves payroll for all assigned team members
  • Be a champion of the department’s GEMBA; prepares and presents accurate data

QUALIFICATIONS 

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Participate in meetings, discussions, and presentations requiring proficient spoken English skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable insights and feedback in English.
  • Learn tasks quickly, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellence in attendance.
  • Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous related experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of continued work experience
  • Learn tasks quickly, is detailed, accuracy driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance.
  • Must be very comfortable with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • The position requires lifting of no less than 15-40 lbs. on a regular basis.

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs and the ability to lift moderately heavy items such as test equipment or materials.
  • Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
