Your Role:
- Knowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental aspect and Risk related to inspection activities on Machines and during Assembly
- Knowledge about Risk related to chemical management related to Nondestructive testing and able to interpret MSDS related to associated chemicals.
- Initiate /support different environmental projects related to 3R’s (reduce/reuse/recycle).
- Report all Incidents / Accidents / Events / Spill / Leak as per the organization requirement.
- In depth knowledge about Machining and Assembly process preferably from Steam Turbine Manufacturing Processes
- Well conversant for using of Measuring instrument like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauges etc..
- In-depth knowledge about the Steam Turbine manufacturing process and quality requirements
- Able to read and interpret Engineering drawing and geometrical tolerances requirement
- Able to detect any counter fraudulent inspection report received from Supplier or during inspection of bought out items
- Review of Supplier documentation/EOMR
- Raise flag for any non-conformance/process deviations
- Hands on experience on QM Module of SAP
- Well convergent with manufacturing process like Machining, Assembly and Fabrication of Steam Turbine Components
- Create awareness among team to raise stop work/Quality Concern on small deviations
- Able to communicate on deviation with the sourcing/supplier/supplier quality.
- Preparation of Visual inspection reports
- Carryout “C” class component inspection and prepare dimension inspection report.
- Work as a bridge between shop quality team and sourcing quality team.
- Monitor Issues identified during shop and work with sourcing to improve the process at supplier end.
Basic Qualifications(requirements):
- Diploma/B.E/Btech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 Years of Experience in incoming Quality.
- Well convergent with SAP/MTA/Microsoft Office tools (Advance understanding needed)
Desired Qualifications:
- NDT Level II in LPT/MPT as per ASNT.

Skills Required
- Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in incoming quality inspection
- Hands-on experience with SAP QM module
- Advanced proficiency with MTA and Microsoft Office tools
- In-depth knowledge of machining, assembly, and steam turbine manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
- Proficiency using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauges) and preparing dimension inspection reports
- Knowledge of EHS guidelines, chemical risk management, and ability to interpret MSDS
- Experience detecting counterfeit/fraudulent supplier inspection reports and reviewing supplier documentation/EOMR
- Ability to raise non-conformance/process deviation flags and communicate with sourcing/suppliers
- Perform C-class component inspections and prepare inspection reports
- Create awareness and enforce stop-work/quality concern practices on shop floor
- NDT Level II certification in LPT/MPT as per ASNT
