Assemble, fit, and fabricate heavy metal components per engineering drawings. Use hand and power tools, perform cutting, grinding, and fitting, prepare parts for welding, inspect assemblies, maintain tools and equipment, follow EHS and lean practices, and collaborate with teams to meet quality and project deadlines.

Supervise field mechanical installation, inspection, maintenance and reassembly of power units (2MW–2000MW). Lead industrialization and site construction for a new turbine and generator product line: manage teams, ensure EHS and ISO compliance, drive lean and smart-manufacturing integration, oversee quality, commissioning, scheduling, cost control, and new-product qualification to meet production targets.

Coordinate government relations, early-stage business development, academic partnerships, events, and grants. Prepare briefing materials, support stakeholder engagement and follow-up, align cross-functional teams, track milestones, and produce internal reports to enable senior leadership and drive market development.

Support the Construction Manager to plan, execute and track mechanical erection works. Manage subcontractors, coordinate with Engineering and Procurement, ensure EHS and quality compliance, produce as-built documentation, resolve deviations, support commissioning, and apply LEAN methods to meet schedule, budget and safety targets.

Manage project accounting and controls: reconcile SAP project financials, monitor costs and cash flows, define revenue milestones, handle invoicing and forex reconciliation, manage bonds/guarantees, support claims and audits, and produce project financial reporting and KPI updates.

Lead mechanical engineering scope for nuclear steam turbine projects, coordinate design teams, manage technical interfaces, ensure quality, schedule, budget compliance, and nuclear safety; support manufacturing/site activities and drive continuous improvement.

Lead sourcing and procurement for assigned commodities: manage RFQs, negotiate contracts, place orders, and monitor supplier performance. Drive supplier development, cost reduction, lead-time reduction, risk mitigation, and KPI alignment. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, logistics, and commodity leaders, focusing on sourcing for turbine/generator and heavy mechanical components.

Manage supplier delivery performance for assigned project packages, ensuring on-time, on-budget fulfillment. Define expediting strategy, coordinate with procurement, quality, and project teams, monitor risks and costs, and report status through PMX/SUMO. Drive compliance with group processes and support forecasting and budgeting.

Perform FEA and hand calculations to assess steam turbine components for strength, fatigue, buckling, ratcheting, natural frequency, heat transfer and shock. Build FE models and analysis plans, assist weld checks, evaluate lifting/installation, support commissioning and outages, write reports, and present design reviews to customers.

Support the Construction Manager by executing erection strategy, developing plans and tools, managing subcontractors, coordinating with Engineering and Procurement, enforcing EHS and LEAN, maintaining as-built and quality documentation, supporting commissioning, and driving cost/quality objectives.

Coordinate and implement project-specific quality plans for shop-floor manufacturing. Lead NCR/RCA & CAPA activities, ensure document control, collect CTQ data, support audits and customer meetings, and drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Ensure suppliers implement quality controls across procurement, manufacturing and packing. Trainees will work on-site in shop operations, operate critical heavy manufacturing and power-generation workshop machines, collect data and apply data-driven problem solving, and develop practical mechanical and communication skills.

Lead mechanical design of heat exchangers including mechanical sizing, analytical calculations, manufacturing drawing checks, design reviews, client interactions, FEA boundary verification, compliance with pressure-vessel and nuclear safety standards, and driving design improvements and cost reduction.

Develop 2D/3D concept designs and mechanical calculations for steam turbine retrofit components using CATIA V5. Gather and analyse existing equipment data, prepare drawings, BoMs and reports, support tender-phase engineering, participate in multidisciplinary reviews, and ensure nuclear safety, compliance, and on-time delivery.

One-year diploma apprenticeship in the Sanand factory Maintenance department. Support manufacturing operations, process, quality and maintenance functions. Learn production technology, inspection and quality principles, machining/fabrication (welding), assembly and testing. Develop logical reasoning, communication, adaptability and a learning attitude while working with global teams.
