Objective
This position is responsible for coordinating product flow from warehouse and freezer into the production room.
Primary Job Duties
- Responsibly move throughout the day from the warehouse and cooler into production.
- Scanning items to the proper entry codes
- Reversing items that are being pushed back to the cooler or warehouse
- Responsible for the batching and scanning of all warehouse items to production entries out of intermediate warehouse.
- Responsible for ensuring that all entries on the dashboard are correct. Communicate with necessary supervisors prior to leaving/end of shift.
- Responsible for notifying QA and supervisor of spilled or tipped product before any decisions are made regarding disposal or cleanup
- Ensuring all labels of products being received are accurate: weight, date, product.
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of operating scan gun and computer production entries
- Must be able to read and comprehend daily production reports.
- Must have basic technical skills operating equipment
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required.
- May require occasional assisted lifting of up to 70 lbs. and push or pull up to 2,000 lbs. using a pallet jack.
- These positions work in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment with slippery surfaces.
- Must be able to operate stand-up forklift.
