The Production Coordinator is responsible for supporting production, maintenance and project activities to meet operational requirements. The role also leads the site emergency response team (ERT).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the key liaison between Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics and other support functions on site.

  • Ensure work orders are properly scoped, prioritized, scheduled, and executed to minimize production downtime and maintain safe, reliable plant operations.

  • Be the production representative for turnaround (TA) planning & execution by supporting TA scope development, work scheduling, building equipment isolation packets etc

  • Act as manufacturing representative for capital projects and lead execution of small expense projects on site

  • Support production by writing procedures, training personnel and completing assigned action items

  • Actively participate in Incident investigations, Management of change (MOC), Non-conformance management and Process hazard analysis (PHA) activities

  • With a continuous improvement mindset, troubleshoot/diagnose equipment and systems for repairs and improvements

  • Lead site emergency response team (ERT) ensuring all members complete required training, drills and other activities to sustain relevant skills/knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum High School Diploma, bachelor degree preferred

  • Working knowledge of SAP, with willingness to expand capabilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong production and operational knowledge of plant processes and maintenance activities.

  • Demonstrated EHS awareness and leadership, with commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement solutions.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.

  • Self-directed and proactive, demonstrating initiative, alignment with company Guiding Principles, and willingness to take on step-up assignments when required.
