Position Title: Production Automation Engineer
Location: Omaha Ne. On-Site
Purpose:
The IT Production Automation Engineer III works as part of the Production Automation team. Uses expertise in developing and maintaining automation solutions to increase productivity and efficiency through software automation. Uses expertise to design, code and improve software processes and workflows through automation. Analyzes, codes, and configures new and existing products to reduce manual work and connect systems. Utilizes APIs, software tools and enterprise systems to make a difference at scale and account for future growth. Produces design specifications and documentation. Explores and implements new ways to automate systems through software solutions. Monitors the performance of automation systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
Works under occasional supervision, referring only unusual cases to others.
Uses independent judgment to handle moderately complex issues and problems.
Possesses comprehensive general knowledge of subject matter to make decisions on various cases working independently. Opportunity for errors may be serious and may involve loss of productivity.
Routine communication requires tact with both inside and outside contacts to obtain information, cooperation, and resolve basic issues. Regularly works with confidential data.
Two or more years work experience.
Personal computer and related spreadsheet and data manipulation software Computer programming such as .NET Knowledge of relational databases
Principles of finance, business, statistics, and insurance Company and department practices and procedures

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
