Product Stewardship- Specialist
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, validating, and managing regulatory documentation within IMDS and CAMDS systems to meet both customer and Garrett requirements. You will collaborate closely with customers and suppliers to address product compliance needs and ensure alignment with applicable regulations.
You will lead projects end-to-end, from concept through final implementation, including defining scope, setting objectives, and providing regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you will develop and execute project plans, manage timelines, and track progress against key milestones. The role requires proactively identifying, communicating, and resolving risks or bottlenecks that may impact delivery, while ensuring effective coordination of corrective and preventive actions.
- Key Responsibilities : 1. Enforce compliance with worldwide restricted substance requirements such as GADSL, RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, and ELV, etc., and perform supplier audits to ensure requirements are complied with and followed.
- Review IMDS reports in accordance with customer requirements, national and international standards, laws, and regulations concerning materials.
- Assist in data gathering and management of the product material compliance activity.
- Provides timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinate actions, and help business in troubleshooting process/data issues.
- Can understand procedure and dependencies for process adherence and propose improvements as and when required.
- Possess hands-on experience in creating IMDS and CAMDS tree structures, with a solid understanding of different types of Bill of materials.
- Evaluation of supplier declaration according to the ELV, GADSL, RoHS and REACH regulations in IMDS and CAMDS.
- Get in contact with global material suppliers to receive the IMDS and CAMDS submissions.
- Need to create the regulatory compliance reports in the SAP EHS module.
- Ability to Interpret customer needs and assesses requirements.
- Able to read product technical drawings & product-related queries.

- Should be an expert in hazardous chemical & their identifications, ELV, and RRR calculation.

Education / Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in any engineering preferably (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental).
Experience :-
- 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
- Sound knowledge of EU ELV, GADSL, EU REACH, EU RoHS and Conflict Mineral.
- Understanding of materials planning software (SAP,IMDS,etc..).
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
- Good leadership skills to train, guide, and mentor the work of new joined or less experienced team members.Key Skill :

Skills Required
