We’re seeking a driven and collaborative Product Owner (Financial Products) to join CapitalBox and lead the development and delivery of fintech products that empower European SMEs. If you thrive at the intersection of business, technology, and customer needs, and want to shape impactful financial products—this role is for you.
Your focus:
- Create, maintain, and share a clear vision of the product lifecycle, aligned with the customer journey, market trends, and technology.
- Translate business ideas into clear development plans and coordinate delivery with cross-functional teams.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business impact, technical effort, and user needs.
- Analyse, understand, and continuously improve products and related services.
- Design, model, test, and maintain business processes related to product performance and delivery.
- Build and maintain product roadmaps with clearly defined outcomes and timelines.
- Lead and coordinate projects with partners (vendors, tech providers, banks, sales and integration platforms) to ensure successful product delivery and operations.
- Support the Operations team with product knowledge and improvements.
Required skills & qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in banking or fintech (min 2 years).
- Strong understanding of financial products, credit risk, and process mapping (ITIL, BPM).
- Familiar with core systems like CRM, loan management platforms.
- Tech-savvy – you speak both tech and business languages.
- Structured mindset – you simplify complexity and organize chaos.
- Great communicator – clear, confident, and collaborative across teams (internal and external).
- Proactive and accountable – you take ownership and deliver results.
- Comfortable using data and KPIs to guide decisions.
- Skilled at writing clear requirements and user stories.
- Customer-centric – you focus on solving real user and business problems.

The salary range is €3,000 to €4,500 gross monthly. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering your skills and experience.
