Position Overview:
Collins Aerospace DT is undergoing Agile transformation and piloting in Data & Platform organization to support the 7 strategic initiatives.You will engage, collaborate and build relationships with leaders across COLLINS AEROSPACE and RTX to define and support the development of the and roadmap for Collins. This will require you to recommend, identify, negotiate priority and ultimately develop use cases, manage key requirements with the product team and dependent product teams to deliver on the ART roadmap.This role will require you to partner closely with stakeholders to re-shape aerospace through data to realize a best-in-class customer experience and operational excellence.

Job Description:
The Product Manager/Owner will be regularly challenged with problems that will require a forward-looking and future-reaching mind set to build / evolve Digital Technology Capabilities that will enable data & AI products that will scale across Collins Aerospace.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the DT Product Backlog.
- Validate assumptions about requirements to feed emerging knowledge / learnings back into Solutions.
- Understanding the Customer needs; and validate Solutions drive intended business outcomes
- Working with Architect/ Technical Leads to understand the value of capabilities and how they can achieve business outcomes
- Support Development of ART Roadmap
- Managing and prioritizing the flow of work (e.g. Backlog) through the ART as it relates to your Product
- Preparing for and participating in PI Planning
- Participating in demos – Inspect, learn and Adapt
- Building an effective Product as a part of an aligned ART
- Collaborate with teams across the business units, Central Functions and RTX Corporate to define technologies required to support data application development, operation and scale globally.
- Support the overall product strategy for Data & AI ART
- Drive your team to execute to the product roadmap and drive product backlog refinement and prep for PI planning
- Ensure roadmap and key dependency alignment with product owners and dependent teams is aligned and understood.
- Promote and lead an agile team with an emphasis continuous product / value delivery.
- Build relationships, maintain, and manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse, global team of experts.
- Be an advocate for data - Communicate & educate: be able to articulate the vision, strategy and progress to all levels of the organization (Executives to individual contributors).
Qualifications (Experience/ skills / competencies)
- Operated as a PO / PM / RTE
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence business partners / leaders and create alignment
- 10+ years developing highly successful technology products as a Product Owner / Product Manager / Project Manager
- Preferred working experience in an Aerospace business role (e.g. Engineering, Program / Project Mgmt, Aftermarket, etc)
- Strong balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
- Understanding of Data – e.g. Curation, Data Science and Analytics
- Experience with product / feature ownership and driving / aligning a product strategy / roadmap
- Experience in developing predictive analytics, data science, analytics or data products.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience
