Equifax is seeking a technical product owner who is a master at bridging the desires of the customer and the capabilities of the technology, removing barriers to software development. You will be responsible for grooming the product backlog and have insight into technical requirements of individual stories thus creating a more efficient user experience.
What you will do

Requirements Elicitation: Conduct in-depth interviews, workshops, and other techniques to gather and analyze business requirements.

Requirement Analysis: Critically evaluate information, identify underlying needs, and decompose high-level requirements into detailed user stories.

Product Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Product Roadmap Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain the product roadmap.Agile Methodology: Drive agile practices, participate in sprint planning, and actively contribute to the development process.

Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicate product vision and progress, and address concerns.

Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality by defining acceptance criteria and collaborating with the QA team.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to enhance product features and user experience.
What experience you need
-
Proven Experience: 5-10 years of experience in product analysis or business analysis roles.

Exposure to cloud native application development (GCP preferred) and three tier architecture(UI, Service Layer, Back End APIs)

Education Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban and familiarity with software development lifecycle, user interface design, and technical requirements.

Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.

Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take ownership of issues.

Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the financial services industry, specifically credit reporting and analytics, is preferred.
