The Sr. Technical Product Manager translates business, regulatory, and technical requirements into clear, actionable backlog items while ensuring alignment with Agile best practices and healthcare regulatory standards.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Technical Architects on solution design and implementation options
- Own and actively manage the product backlog, continuously ordering and prioritizing work to ensure 1–2 sprints of “ready” backlog at all times
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies within a regulated delivery model
- Ensure the Definition of Done incorporates quality, security, documentation, and regulatory compliance needs
- Partner with Product Managers, application and domain leaders to define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business, clinical, and regulatory objectives
- Balance innovation, speed, and technical excellence with healthcare compliance, data privacy, and patient safety requirements
- Collaborate on short‑term and quarterly roadmaps, Minimal Viable Product (MVP) definitions, and release planning
- Interact directly with customers and stakeholders to conduct Voice of the Customer (VOC) activities, requirements gathering, refinement, and product feedback
- Conduct customer, stakeholder, and clinical interviews; develop and maintain personas and workflow models
- Influence stakeholders through data‑driven discussions, persuasion, and synthesized recommendations
- Communicate regulatory constraints, technical trade‑offs, and downstream impacts clearly and effectively
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other Product Owners to decompose features into consumable user stories
- Translate ambiguous or unstructured work requests into clear, actionable user stories and work units with acceptance criteria
- Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer needs, regulatory risk, and technical dependencies
- Demonstrate increasing depth of understanding of the technology stack and its impact on product scalability, security, and compliance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM-related field
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering or product development work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working as a Product Owner
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in Agile/Scrum teams delivering software products
- Demonstrated flexibility in approach to work hours, and willingness to partner with and accommodate global teams and schedules.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule with three days per week on-site at the GE HealthCare office located in Waukesha, Wisconsin

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or STEM-related field
- 6+ years of engineering or product development work experience
- 5 years experience working in a regulated healthcare industry with medical device development with Quality Systems.
- Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to interface with engineers and cross-functional team members with confidence and clarity
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) from Scrum.org
- Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles
- Demonstrates initiative in exploring alternative technologies and solution approaches
- Skilled in breaking down complex problems, documenting problem statements, and estimating effort
