About SpendHound:

SpendHound is a 100% free software renewal management platform and service recently launched by the research firm YipitData. (See this introductory video from SpendHound’s Senior Product Manager!)

• SpendHound is the single source of truth for companies’ renewal information and includes:
• A comprehensive view of all software applications used with annual contract values, auto-renewal information, renewal dates, license counts, and more
• An invoice and contract management system for companies to store their invoices and contracts
• Renewal reminders through email and Slack so companies never miss upcoming software renewals
• Free advice from renewal experts to discuss price benchmarking insights and negotiation strategies for any upcoming renewals
• Companies use the SpendHound platform and procurement expert service to save time and money on their software renewals. 
• SpendHound is free for customers because customer data is de-identified, aggregated with other panelists, and used as part of YipitData market research (example report).

About The Role:

The SpendHound product is quickly growing, and we are scaling our Data team to expand our product offering and service our rapidly growing customer base. One of the biggest challenges across the entire SpendHound product over the next year is going to be effectively hiring, training, and scaling a large number of new Data team members. 

To support this endeavor and oversee the enablement and operations functions for our Data team, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced talent to join as our first Product Operations Senior Associate on our SpendHound team.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarter is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding. 

As a Product Operations Senior Associate, you will:

• Improve, run, and scale our new hire training and ongoing development programs to onboard 10+ new Data team members over the next six months
• Oversee key parts of our recruiting processes such as grading take-home assignments, interviewing candidates, and working closely with our recruiting teams to fill 10+ positions over the next six months
• Create and maintain documentation for Data team processes, including code in Databricks, internal data systems and infrastructure, and technical best practices 
• Collaborate with Data team members and managers to ensure our training materials, best practices, and resources allow new hires to start contributing quickly and existing team members to maximize their efficiency 
• Partner with the People Operations team to develop performance management frameworks to ensure teams are consistently hitting KPIs and performance challenges are quickly identified and addressed 
• Measure outcomes on all of the above areas and continue to iterate and refine these initiatives over time
• Work closely with the Director of Data Product on all of the above to ensure we hit our SpendHound goals

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

• You have 2+ years of experience working in a technical enablement or operations function in a fast-paced, high growth environment
• You have experience building and running technical training programs 
• You have experience or are interested in recruiting candidates for technical roles 
• You have a data-driven mindset and have at least intermediate SQL and Python skills
• You are a self-starter who can thrive in the ambiguity of a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• You can effectively manage many parallel processes at the same time
• You love working with new hires and building resources to support all team members continue to grow and develop
• You are excited about owning a new enablement and operations function and scaling high-performing teams of data analysts for a rapidly growing product
• You are available to work US Eastern time zone hours

• The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be $100,000~120,000 USD. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. 
• The compensation package also includes equity.
• This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, and Seattle. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
