Main Responsibilities :

  • Ensures follow-up of customer pre-studies in the proposal of battery cells technical solutions meeting specifications, in cross-functional coordination with product development teams.
  • Ensures technical conformity of RFI / RFQ proposal up to nomination
  • Keeps a constant watch on Li-ion chemistries technical and technological developments in the market
  • Conducts battery cells benchmark studies of the competition, including cell tear downs
  • Liaise directly with customers' technical departments to carry out cell level technical pre-studies in line with requirements.
  • Ensures product plan planning and its integration into the company's industrial plan.

Prerequisites :

  • Minimum 5-year engineering degree
  • Comfortable with customer interactions and specifications management
  • Very good knowledge of products, customer types, markets and sales networks
  • In-depth knowledge of Lithium-ion battery product technologies
  • At least 10 years' experience with Li-ion batteries (including PhD if any)
  • Advanced English required as main working language, advanced French is a plus.
