The Role
As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll lead product positioning, content creation, product launches, sales enablement, and market intelligence to differentiate ControlUp solutions.
Summary Generated by Built In
ControlUp is a leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX), evolving IT operations with agentic AI to deliver Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) and a digital workspace that runs itself.
Our platform transforms millions of real-time signals into intelligent action, bridging the gap between deep visibility and automated remediation. We turn "IT headaches" and employee frustration into self-healing operations, allowing organizations to move beyond reactive troubleshooting toward a future where technology works seamlessly in the background.
We’re here to ensure the workday runs without disruptions.
No tool sprawl, no wasted time, and no friction. Just technology that works for people, not against them, so they can stay focused on what they do best.

One platform. One powerful shift in how work flows.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be part of a team of product and technical marketing professionals responsible for the content, positioning, messaging and positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) strategy of ControlUp solutions. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial. You will collaborate closely across the marketing organization and will work with product management and field sales teams to identify and prioritize messaging, tools, and content to support sales and product launch processes.

  • Sales enablement – create and maintain content to educate the field on product capabilities that support the product use case.
  • Market and competitive intelligence – understand the market landscape and how to competitively position the product. Serve as the voice of the customer to the internal product-focused teams to reinforce solving customer challenges.
  • Cross-team collaboration – This role will work with engineering, product, and the sales teams to deliver slide decks, tutorials, eBooks, demos, videos, and other collateral that align with our go-to-market initiatives.
  • Content evangelism – this role will contribute to educating sales and SE teams on the availability and usability of the content. It is especially important to keep content up-to-date and consistently discoverable.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of B2B software product or technical marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience related to End-User Computing (such as Citrix, VMware Horizon and Microsoft AVD) or Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), desktop solutions.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant technologies and curiosity and passion to always learn more about how things work.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to build end-to-end plans and manage execution across cross-functional teams.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
  • Product marketing writing experience, especially in creating content such as sales enablement, blogs, emails, web copy.
  • The ability to drive technical content-related projects to completion independently and in a timely matter.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and successfully build relationships with geographically dispersed colleagues and teams.
