The Role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will drive and own the go-to-market strategy for BeyondTrust's Entitlement Management solution in the identity security portfolio. The position performs a key role in bringing products to market, driving competitive sales and channel programs, delivering content for campaigns and enablement, and other defined objectives that drive revenue growth, market leadership, and awareness. This internally and externally facing position requires constant collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Partner, and Product Management. The role reports to the Vice President of Product Marketing and provides excellent opportunities for visibility and growth.  

What You’ll Do

  • Be the driving force behind getting your BT product to market, driving growth (revenue and adoption). This includes developing and driving the go-to-market strategy for BeyondTrust’s offerings in light IGA, Just-in-Time access, and CIEM security areas.  
  • Develop and lead our messaging and buyer enablement by defining, managing, and delivering differentiated competitive messaging and market positioning to our worldwide sales force.  
  • Deliver and manage content to assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and demand generation programs.  
  • Collaborate with campaign and operations teams to optimize the lead to close process for your product area.   
  • Launch new – or update existing – solutions working with product management, sales, operations, marketing, training, and support functions.  
  • Be technically curious and display a foundational level of technical understanding of the solution, market segment, and customer needs.  
  • Provide the entire organization with strategic intelligence and actionable insights that enable us to exploit emergent opportunities.  


What You’ll Bring 

  • 2-3 years of experience in product marketing and with security software products. Previous sales engineering, customer success, or product management experience is a strong plus.  
  • Experience in one of the following domains/areas (privileged access management, identity governance and administration, cloud infrastructure entitlement management, least privilege access, cloud security, DevSecOps) 
  • The ability to connect technical capabilities to use cases and business issues  
  • A good understanding of current and emerging market needs and then translating them into compelling messages.  
  • The ability to understand and present marketing and pipeline metrics to inform decision-making and strategy development to a large audience   
  • Outstanding English communication skills to explain and translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive communications, including but not limited to, customer presentations, sales trainings, and analyst briefings.  
  • Excellent time management skills and be able to coordinate across many teams and to iterate and deliver in a fast-moving environment.  
  • Proven experience being self-directed and working with minimal supervision.  
  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service offerings is a plus.  
  • Experience designing sales collateral from scratch based on sales conversations, sales calls, product interviews, user interviews, market research, and your own experience.  

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.  
  • Minimum 3 years in product marketing or product management. 
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, market analysis, and go-to-market strategy execution.  
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in identity security, IAM, PAM, cloud security, and/or other adjacent cybersecurity segments with the ability to quickly grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer value.  SaaS based vendor experience is strongly desired.
