About the role:
Cision is looking for a Product Marketing Manager II to help shape how we position, launch, and grow our portfolio of consumer intelligence and distribution solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Strategy. You’ll be responsible for turning product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that help customers understand the value of our solutions and help commercial teams win in market.
You’ll own go-to-market strategy for key products and launches, develop differentiated messaging and positioning, create high-impact sales enablement, and bring market, customer, and competitive insights back into the business.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who can think commercially, write clearly, influence cross-functionally, and move quickly in a fast-changing market.
What you’ll do:
- Own messaging and positioning for key products across the Cision portfolio, translating product capabilities into clear customer value
- Lead go-to-market planning for launches, releases, and strategic initiatives, including audience definition, value proposition, launch strategy, enablement, and adoption plans
- Create compelling sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, talk tracks, competitive battlecards, product one-pagers, objection handling, and customer-facing narratives
- Partner closely with Product Management to understand roadmap priorities, customer needs, market trends, and product differentiation
- Support analyst relations, market evaluations, and strategic briefings with strong product narratives, proof points, and differentiation
- Use customer, competitor, and market insights to inform positioning, packaging, roadmap discussions, and commercial strategy
- Develop persona-led messaging for different industries and markets
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, martech, or AI-powered platforms
- Strong ability to turn complex products and technical capabilities into simple, differentiated, benefit-led messaging
- Experience building go-to-market strategies for new products, major launches, or strategic repositioning initiatives
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create executive-ready narratives, sales decks, customer-facing content, and internal enablement
- Commercial mindset with strong understanding of B2B sales motions, buyer personas, competitive positioning, and revenue impact
- Experience with AI, data analytics, social listening, media monitoring, communications technology, or consumer intelligence is a strong plus
