We are seeking a Product Manager to own engagement and retention outcomes across our platform. In this high-impact role, you will develop the product vision, strategy, and execution for experiences that deepen user engagement and drive long-term retention. You will define what keeps users coming back, build the systems that deliver personalized value at the right moments, and measure success through rigorous experimentation.

This is a hands-on, data-driven role where you will leverage AI and modern tooling to accelerate discovery, prototype solutions, and deliver measurable impact. You will partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and marketing to build experiences that transform casual users into loyal, engaged customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own engagement and retention metrics: Define, track, and drive improvements to key engagement indicators (DAU/MAU, session frequency, feature adoption) and retention metrics (D1/D7/D30 retention, churn reduction, reactivation rates).

  • Develop engagement strategy: Build the product vision and roadmap for experiences that deepen user engagement, including habit-forming loops, personalized journeys, and contextual nudges that guide users toward value.

  • Drive retention through product-led initiatives: Design and execute strategies to reduce churn, increase stickiness, and re-engage lapsed users through lifecycle marketing, personalization, and product interventions.

  • Leverage AI to accelerate product development: Use AI-powered tools for prototyping, data analysis, content generation, and experimentation. Apply AI to personalize user experiences and predict engagement patterns.

  • Lead experimentation and optimization: Design and run rigorous A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate rapidly. Build frameworks for segmentation, targeting, and journey optimization in partnership with data science.

  • Build engagement infrastructure: Lead the creation of foundational systems including contextual messaging, in-app marketing surfaces, and personalization frameworks that scale across the product.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics to deliver cohesive experiences. Influence stakeholders across the organization to align on engagement priorities.

  • Translate insights into action: Use quantitative data to identify opportunities and qualitative research to understand user motivations. Turn insights into clear product requirements and user stories.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience with a focus on engagement, retention, growth, or lifecycle product development.

  • Proven track record of driving measurable improvements to engagement and retention metrics through experimentation and product iteration.

  • Proficiency with AI tools: Demonstrated experience using AI for product development, including prototyping (Claude, Lovable, Cursor, Figma Make), data analysis, or building AI-powered features.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to write SQL queries, interpret data, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks, funnel optimization, and cohort analysis.

  • Understanding of behavioral psychology, habit formation, and user motivation frameworks.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to influence and align stakeholders across technical and business teams.

  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is biased toward action and outcomes.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience building personalization frameworks, recommendation systems, or messaging infrastructure.

  • Background in consumer products, SaaS, fintech, or healthcare technology.

  • Experience with lifecycle marketing tools (Braze, Iterable, Customer.io) or product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel).

  • Track record of mentoring junior PMs or leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Experience applying machine learning or predictive analytics to engagement or retention challenges.
