The Role

Our Technology Solutions team are entering an exciting growth phase of our SaaS cloud Practice Information Management System (Ascend). We are proud to be leading the way in providing solutions that are intuitive, user friendly and will enable us to continue our vision of making a difference to vet customers, pet owners and pets.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Eight Mile Plains team on a permanent basis. You will be key to delivering a market-leading veterinary-tech SaaS platform across regions. You will form part of a collective team with UX designers, QA and engineers to identify problems worth solving, explore solutions, and ensure the right product gets built and delivered. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution skills, a user-first mindset, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will join a product team that has a clear list of priorities so that you can deliver and focus through the whole design process. We have an exceptional product that is disrupting the veterinary tech market in a positive way due to our unique product design.

As Product Manager, you will:

  • Act as an advocate of the needs and behaviours of veterinary staff, facilitate cross-functional discussions and ensure they are aligned with our product strategy and vision.
  • Incorporate market and customer insights into product development and decision making processes.
  • Assist Product Managers with sprint and feature work by defining feature scope through analysis and insights, prioritising backlogs, and ensuring internal teams are across updates.
  • Support knowledge sharing and training initiatives.

About You

To be successful you will have;

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Product Management, or a related field.
  • Any exposure to the veterinary industry will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment and a strong understanding of product discovery and delivery across product, UX and engineering.
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering customer-centric products.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to align diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, with comfort using data to support decisions.
