Job Description

This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week).

  • Drive forward strategy and product roadmap of Dremel DIY tools product segment
  • Understand market landscape and user insights to drive forward new product ideas and drive forward roadmap of DIY Product Program
  • Understand market insights and define new categories Dremel will get into while driving forward innovation and new product ideas
  • Lead and drive forward roadmap of DIY categories including oscillating tools and Mini saws, and more
  • Work closely with UX team to understand market gaps and user insights for new product ideation sessions
  • Lead, Motivate, and provide direction to cross functional teams
  • Facilitate recommendations for the category and report out direction to leadership team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in new product development defining product roadmaps and working closely with engineering to design products
  • 3+ years Experience in defining category or product segment strategy
  • Marketing or Engineering Degree preferred
