Product Manager

We are seeking a Product Manager – Air Handling Units to lead the growth and development of our air handling unit business. This role will own the overall product strategy, drive new customer and channel opportunities, expand manufacturing capabilities, and build the team needed to support long-term growth. 

The ideal candidate is a strong business leader with experience in HVAC, manufacturing, OEM relationships, and developing profitable growth opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business & Market Growth 

• Develop our standalone air handling unit business and increase market share. 

• Develop and execute the overall growth strategy for the air handling unit business 

• Build and manage strategic relationships with our sales representative network. 

• Translate market and customer requirements into product strategy, features, and roadmap priorities. 

• Identify new markets, applications, and customer opportunities. 

• Develop pricing and product strategies that support profitable growth. 

Product & Manufacturing Strategy 

• Manage the complete product lifecycle from market opportunity identification and product development through launch, sustaining, enhancement, and retirement. 

• Lead the expansion of operational capabilities to support future growth. 

• Develop capacity, equipment, tooling, automation, and capital investment strategies. 

• Partner with Engineering and Operations to improve cost, quality, capacity, and lead times. 

• Identify new features and options that create competitive advantages. 

Team & Business Leadership 

• Build and develop the team required to support the growth of the air handling unit business. 

• Establish priorities, processes, and performance expectations for the organization. 

• Lead cross-functional efforts across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance. 

• Develop business cases and recommendations for major investments and strategic initiatives. 

• Track and communicate business performance, growth opportunities, and strategic priorities to senior leadership. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, air handling unit, fan wall units, or related manufacturing. 

• Proven experience growing a product line or business. 

• Understanding of air handling units, technical components, and performance requirements 

• Understanding of HVAC products, manufacturing, and market dynamics.
