The Product Manager will join our MEA & India Nalco Water Product Line Management Team to help our customers meet their goals, drive value delivery to differentiate Ecolab from our competition, and impact the achievement of our ambitious growth targets. The product manager will be responsible for the continuous development of several product lines to enable our customers to meet their operational & sustainability goals and achieve profitable growth for Ecolab.
 
What will you do?
  • Partner with one or more Nalco Water divisions to drive growth by collaborating on the Innovation projects and strategic growth bets.
  • Based on an understanding of our customer needs, continuously develop & optimize a portfolio of water treatment products to enable sustainable and profitable growth aligned with divisional priorities/goals and an understanding of our customers’ needs.
  • Own a healthy offering with differentiated, cost competitive and regulatory compliant products to create customer value
  • Collaborate with global & regional RD&E and divisional marketing teams to develop and commercialize new offerings and to lead cross divisional innovation projects in the IMEA region to meet our financial targets.
  • Drive the improvement of the portfolio competitiveness through cost savings/avoidance projects with cross functional teams.
  • Support the sales teams with marketing materials such as a product compendium, product selection guides and corresponding training.
  • Own competitive intelligence and market analysis to identify market trends to meet unmet customer needs and to propose M&As
  • Stay current on market standards, trends and practices and understand impact on Ecolab product line and business.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Chemist, chemical engineer, or related engineering or science educations with a bachelor or master
  • 8 years + experience in the water treatment industry.
  • Business-to-business marketing experience.
  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Project Management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, preferably in Marketing

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related engineering/science field
  • 8+ years experience in the water treatment industry
  • Business-to-business marketing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to work with influential people and complex organizations
  • Project management skills
  • MBA, preferably in Marketing
