We know that people want great value combined with an excellent experience from a bank they can trust, so we launched our digital bank, Chase, to revolutionize mobile banking with seamless journeys that our customers love. We’re already trusted by millions in the US and we’re quickly growing internationally — but how we do things here is a little different. We’re building the bank of the future from scratch, channeling our start-up mentality every step of the way, meaning you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact.

As a Senior Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank (ICB) Platform, based in Bangalore, India, you are at the heart of this venture, focused on building the technical platform that reliably delivers all critical data our ICB products create to JPMorgan-wide systems across finance, accounting, treasury, regulatory reporting, AML, and other downstream consumers. You will own the end-to-end product life cycle for a data platform product that sits at the core of the bank’s operations and regulatory obligations.

We’re looking for people who have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By their nature, our people are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects. While we’re looking for professional skills, culture is just as important to us. We understand that everyone’s unique — and that diversity of thought, experience and background is what makes a good team, great

Job responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, roadmap, and objectives for the product, ensuring critical data generated by ICB products is delivered accurately, reliably, and in a timely manner to JPMorgan-wide systems across finance, accounting, treasury, regulatory reporting, and AML.

  • Own the end-to-end product life cycle, taking responsibility for successful delivery and ensuring the product meets the acceptance criteria of stakeholders.

  • Translate complex business and downstream-system needs into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and decision logic that engineering teams can build from.

  • Partner closely with the Tech Lead and engineering teams to ensure alignment and feasibility of product, technical vision, and requirements, including data models, APIs, and integration patterns. • Create and maintain a prioritized backlog based on stakeholder needs, data, and evidence; assess value and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to maximize value aligned with product strategy.

  • Ensure the platform meets all legal, regulatory, risk, and control requirements, working within a strong financial compliance regime given the sensitivity of finance, treasury, regulatory reporting, and AML data.

  • Define and instrument KPIs — including data accuracy, timeliness, completeness, reconciliation quality, SLA adherence, throughput, and defect/rework rates — and iterate based on data.

  • Align and manage communication across Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Treasury, and Risk/Compliance stakeholders to ensure clarity of goals, decisions, and delivery commitments.

  • Run agile teams through iterative discovery and delivery sprint cycles and participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.

  • Be hands-on, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused, as well as a strong team player

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proven experience as a product manager in a fast-paced, complex software development environment using agile/scrum with continuous delivery.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering and scaling technical platform or data products, ideally involving data pipelines, integrations, APIs, or reconciliation/reporting systems.

  • Strong technical product management depth: fluency in software delivery, APIs/integrations, workflow patterns, and data concepts; able to write requirements engineers can build from.

  • Strong experience planning, prioritizing, and maintaining product backlogs, and assessing value to prioritize stories, epics, and themes.

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders at varying levels of detail, and to explain design, architecture, and roadmap to both technical and business audiences.

  • Strong understanding of risk, controls, and regulatory expectations within financial services or another highly regulated environment.

  • Basic troubleshooting skills such as reviewing log files and writing basic SQL queries.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with data platforms serving downstream finance, accounting, treasury, regulatory reporting, or AML functions.

  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and reconciliation concepts.

  • Experience building configurable, rules-driven, or platform products across multiple products, markets, or regulatory contexts.

  • Experience in financial products and financial technology, within or outside the banking sector.

  • Experience applying AI to real workflows with pragmatic judgement around safety, monitoring, and explain ability.

  • Commercial acumen to help build strong business cases that define the product’s success criteria
