As a Platform Product Manager at JPMorganChase within the International Consumer Bank, you lead the end-to-end product life cycle for internal platforms that enable teams across the organization to better serve our customers. As a core leader, you act as the voice of both our customers and internal platform users, developing scalable platforms that provide lasting value. You set the long-term vision, guide successful delivery, gather feedback, and drive continuous optimization. Committed to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.
Job responsibilities
- Define the long-term vision, roadmap, and strategic goals for internal platforms and their integrations.
- Analyze and synthesize requirements from stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and other business teams, translating them into detailed requirements for engineers.
- Proactively monitor trends to propose new solutions that better serve customers, and seek optimizations that enhance the internal user experience.
- Collaborate with vendors and manage vendor relationships, integrations, and delivery backlog.
- Provide light project-management oversight, including milestone tracking, risk identification, delivery reporting, and cross-team coordination.
- Define product and platform success metrics, analyze user engagement and feedback, and maintain clear documentation of objectives, roadmaps, metrics, and deliverables.
- Ensure the product prioritizes customer needs, performance, and quality, and meets all regulatory, risk, and control requirements.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience as a technical/platform product manager, working with backend- and data engineers.
- Experience in a complex software environment, ideally within retail financial services. Skilled at planning, prioritizing, and maintaining product backlogs across internal and vendor integrations.
- Technical fluency: comfort partnering with the Tech Lead on designing journeys, integration patterns, APIs, system architecture, and non-functional scalability requirements.
- Commercial acumen: data-driven decisions when assessing value and building cases for new deliveries or cost optimization.
- Stakeholder management: proven ability to align diverse business and technical teams across regions.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain design, architecture, and roadmap to both technical and business audiences.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hands-on experience scaling products and/or platforms across markets.
- Familiarity with customer data management platforms, communications platforms, marketing technology, and content management systems.
- Track record of introducing AI tools into product/engineering environments.
