Key Responsibilities
1. Champion user-centric product development
Stay closely connected to end users to deeply understand their needs, workflows, pain points, and goals.
Translate user insights into clear product hypotheses and prioritized opportunities.
Design and run lean experiments and A/B tests to validate product assumptions and measure impact.
Foster a culture of user empathy and data-driven decision making within the product team.
Iterate quickly based on user feedback and experiment outcomes to deliver meaningful improvements to the AI Platform.
2. Product Strategy and Vision
Define and articulate the long-term vision for the AI Platform.
Continuously scan the AI landscape for emerging trends, tools, and technologies (e.g., GenAI, MLOps, LLMOps, Agentic AI) to ensure the platform remains best-in-class.
Develop a forward-looking roadmap aligned with overall Broadridge Platform and AI strategy.
3. Roadmap and Backlog Management
Identify core AI capabilities (predictive and generative AI, governance, etc.) that should be built, enhanced, or industrialized within the platform.
Translate strategic initiatives into high level portfolio epics, steel threads and epics.
Collaborate closely with Product Owner(s) to prioritize features and ensure sufficient well-groomed backlog runway.
Build product mockups and prototypes to accelerate user feedback iteratively
4. Business Alignment and Use Case Enablement
Partner with variety of stakeholders to gather requirements for AI Platform – these include i) business, product and engineering teams who want to build AI capabilities into the products, ii) innovation teams driving AI driven POCs, iii) transformation teams driving adoption of AI at scale.
Serve as the internal ambassador for the AI platform, promoting its adoption and capabilities across the organization.
Define and track key KPIs for platform usage, reliability, impact and NPS.
Create alignment across stakeholders through clear communication and prioritization.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
6–10 years of experience in product management or technology strategy, with at least 3 years focusing on AI/ML platforms, data products, or enterprise platforms and products.
Deep understanding of AI/ML life cycle (predictive and generative AI).
Proven ability to lead global cross-functional teams through influence and thought leadership rather than authority.
Experience engaging with technical teams and translating complex concepts for business stakeholders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to connect emerging technology trends to business value.
Experience building AI native solutions – agentic, machine learning, GenAI
Cloud architecture awareness: Knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML service offerings. Experience with modern MLOps / LLMOps tools and cloud AI platforms (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI).
Familiarity with AI model architectures, LLMs, optimization techniques (prompting, fine-tuning), and AI frameworks.
API and developer platform mindset: Understanding platform products, SDKs, and APIs that serve internal or external developers.
Awareness of data architecture, data engineering and data management practices to enable AI at scale
Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills.
Experience delivering value using agile ways of working, lean principles and design thinking
