Job DescriptionJob Description:
Responsible for setting business strategy, driving product planning/execution, delivering the product to the market, and supporting IB/Service with cross-functional teams for the Performance & Value CT segment. Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required for commercial success, within operating budgets and operating guidelines.
This role also includes accountability for Installed Base (IB) product management for Performance and Value CT, collaborating with program managers in China and India, to drive IB growth, lifecycle management, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.
- Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
- Requires specialized knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups.
- Requires strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and in order to influence others' opinions on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
- Lead and coordinate IB product management activities for Performance and Value CT, including lifecycle management, upgrades, and customer engagement programs in partnership with the relevant Program Managers.
- Support cross-functional teams to deliver on IB growth targets and customer satisfaction metrics for Performance and Value CT.
Required Qualifications
CT product basic knowledge.
This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Program Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
Desired Characteristics
Customer interfacing experience.
Minimum 10 yr experience in product management for healthcare imaging products.
CT product development experience in Engineering, Program, Marketing, Commercial.
Team player with global team.
Chinese language communication.
Experience in IB product management and lifecycle programs is highly desirable.
