About the role

Ready to make your mark in fintech?

We’re looking for a Product Manager – Payments to help shape the payment capabilities behind Multitude’s products and turn ideas into solutions used across our business.

Working closely with the Head of Payment Solutions, you’ll help define the payments product strategy — and then make it happen. You’ll set priorities, work directly with developers, and take initiatives from concept to launch and continuous improvement.

It’s a hands-on role at the intersection of product, technology, payments and banking, with plenty of ownership and room to grow.

You’ll likely bring 1–3 years of experience in product management, project management or a similar role, ideally in fintech, payments, banking or another tech-driven environment.

If you enjoy solving real problems, working closely with engineering teams and seeing your ideas come to life, this could be your next big step.

What you’ll be doing

  • Translate business, customer and operational needs into clear product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Work closely with software developers and other technical teams to design, build and improve payment products and capabilities.

  • Coordinate product initiatives from requirements and planning through development, testing, launch and post-launch follow-up.

  • Own and maintain the product backlog, helping prioritize development based on customer impact, business value, technical dependencies and risk.

  • Support integrations with clients, payment providers, banks and other external partners.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance and other Product teams.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify payment flows, improve customer experience and increase operational efficiency.

  • Use data, customer feedback and operational insights to understand problems and recommend improvements.

  • Support the investigation and resolution of product or payment-related issues together with technical and operational teams.

  • Monitor the performance of payment features and help define relevant product and operational KPIs.

  • Keep up to date with developments and trends within payments, banking and fintech.

What we’re looking for

  • Approximately 1–3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager or in a comparable role.

  • Experience working directly with software developers is essential.

  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working in an Agile product or technology environment.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several priorities and stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and identify practical solutions.

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work across both technical and non-technical teams.

  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of problems through to resolution.

  • Fluent professional English.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience within fintech, payments or banking.

  • Understanding of payment flows, payment service providers, card payments, bank transfers or payment processing.

  • Experience working with APIs, integrations or third-party technology providers.

  • Familiarity with regulated financial services environments.

  • Experience using product and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar.

The salary ranges for this role are:

Stockholm/Sweden: SEK 660k– SEK 744k gross/year

Malta: €48k–€53k gross/year

Bratislava/Slovakia: €34k–€39k gross/year

We offer:
