Core Responsibilities

This team is a key part of our transformation into a product-led organization. Therefore, we’re looking to hire an experienced product management leader to:

  • Lead a team of experienced product managers, support their development, manage performance, and create the right culture to empower them and provide them with psychological safety to fail and learn.

  • Coach product managers, so they can confidently lead product teams through the discovery, development, and launch of innovative products and features that provide real value to our users.

  • Synthesize business strategy, user needs, market analysis to develop product vision and strategy that inspires partners, improves the product portfolio, delivers business value and delights end users.

  • Be a driving force in our digital transformation - align with key partners on ways of working and roles and responsibilities. Build consensus on strategies and priorities.

  • Play an active part in our product leadership team to build the overall product organization, including capability building, removing roadblocks and ensure we have fun!

  • Above all, deliver strong and compelling market-leading products that enable us to create amazing brick-built experiences for builders of all ages!


Play your part in our team succeeding

This role will sit in our well-established Product organization in our Innovation Enablement department, whose responsibility covers a wide variety of digital products across our internal tooling to develop LEGO sets and elements. The products in your portfolio would cover LEGO Digital Designer, software for building instructions, large display models, computer graphics rendering and other services.

You will be working closely with the digital engineering and design leaders, the famous LEGO designers and business leadership to ensure we build the best tools possible.

The Product Director reports to the Head of Product within the product organization, making sure that product and portfolio strategy reflect the strategy and needs of the business. As a hands-on visionary leader, you find the balance between rolling your sleeves up to work with your teams and looking at the bigger picture to execute growth and development, always driven by data and end-user experience.

  • Leadership in Product, guiding teams through discovery, launch, and performance improvement.

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and common goals.

  • Skilled in transformational work, enhancing collaboration with partners; experience with AI is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with strong partner management.

  • Collaborative with tech, design, and business functions; technically curious about software development.

  • Self-starter, managing activities autonomously, balancing detail and company vision.
