- Perform fault isolation (FI) using a wide range of FA tools include emission microscopy, IR thermography, TIVA and EFA tools.
- Perform on bench electrical verification on parametric failure using IV- curve tracer, power supply and parametric analyzer.
- Responsible for FA sample preparation include package decapsulation, Si extraction, chemical etching, ion milling, CNC milling, sample grinding and polishing.
- Hands-on with optical probing setup, docking tester (CMT, HDMT, ATS07) with manipulator and coordinate LN2 filling for combo optical tool, IREM.
- Maintain FAFI hardware (TIU, ICS Clamp, socket) and attend cross site logistic need.
- Capable in using microscopy tools such as low/high power optical scope and laser scan imaging.
- Develop, characterize, and optimize FAFI methodologies and tools for efficiency/cost improvement.
- Candidate must possess at least a BS/MS in Electrical/Electronic, Microelectronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in semiconductor failure analysis.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
