Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.
To provide direction for product development, you will use digital simulation models to obtain, understand and interpret consumer insights and commercial information. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications and be responsible for stakeholder management and influencing decisions based on conclusions made from analysis and interpretation of results.

What you need to know about this position:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Product Developer to support key initiatives within our Kitchen and Aurora programs. This temporary position blends hands-on scientific execution with cross-functional alignment, focusing heavily on executing specification harmonization projects across a diverse set of ingredients.
The job would offer you multiple opportunities:
- Dedicated Mentorship: Work directly alongside senior R&D professionals who will guide your onboarding and daily technical training.
- Cross-Functional Exposure: Build a strong professional network by collaborating daily with procurement, supply chain, and consumer science teams.
- Fast-Paced Portfolio Growth: Gain highly marketable, hands-on corporate experience managing PLM workflows and industrial scale-up trials.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- An extra interest on ingredients/raw materials, their functionality and interactions would be good, flavors would be a plus,
- Apply scientific methods and technical rigor to solve complex research problems
- Willingness to address the time-bound business requirements for the project deliverables
- Any experience with analytical sciences, statistics and data management is desirable
Education / Certifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience, ideally via university lab work, internships, or prior technical placements. Product Development experience within Food Industry is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, data management, or specification databases is a plus.
Job specific requirements:
- Deliver Targets: Support project milestones under the Kitchen and Aurora programs with high scientific rigor.
- Technical Support: Coordinate pilot-scale trials, execute PLM data entry, and manage technical product specifications.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with R&D Category, Consumer Sciences, Procurement, and Process teams to align ingredient data.
- Work Flexibly: Balance independent project ownership with active, daily team collaboration.
