About Your Business Area/Department:

In the AMS team, you'll play a key part in transforming airport operations with state-of-the-art technology. Our tools empower airport operators to better manage critical resources like stands, gates, buses, digital displays, check-in counters, and runways. By improving planning and real-time data processing, we're not just optimizing airport operations; we're significantly improving the travel experience for passengers worldwide. This role is about giving our teams the capabilities they need to ensure smoother journeys for everyone.

In this role:

We're looking for a Product Definition Analyst passionate about using innovation to enhance airport operations and passenger experience. Open to both eager recent graduates and seasoned professionals, this role involves diving deep into airport logistics and developing solutions that make operations smoother and travel more enjoyable.

Common accountabilities: 

• Works autonomously within defined processes and procedures or methodologies, takes standard decisions and may support the development of solutions to complex problems of a recurring nature.
• Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or manager, with regular monitoring on the status of the assignments.
• May have specialized formal education or the equivalent work experience and has the required technical and functional skills and basic knowledge of the business.

Specific accountabilities:

• Analyse specifications:
  • Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.
• Design systems and code
  • Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
  • Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
  • Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
  • Model, design and implement databases.
• Test and maintain the software
  • Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
  • Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
  • Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst
• Document your work
  • Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.

Technical environment:                                                                                        

• JIRA, Confluence, Office Suite, GenAI, Bitbucket/Git.
• Database: Oracle and SQL language.
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Practices: SAFe, CI/CD, Automated Testing (e.g., Octane, Robot Framework).
