About the Role 

The Product Management Analyst, WebUI  is a key technical contributor within Veeam's R&D Product Management organization, embedded in the team developing Veeam Backup & Replication — our flagship on-premises data protection platform. You will support Product Managers and the broader R&D organization by delivering strong technical and analytical  expertise  across Web UIs, related REST APIs, user experience standards, release processes, and data-driven product insights.  

 This role also covers cross-product reusable web-based UI wizards, making your contributions visible across the Veeam portfolio. You will serve as a bridge between design, engineering, and product strategy — owning analytical outcomes, validating concepts, and ensuring that UI-driven features ship with quality and consistency.  

 What You’ll Do 
  • Apply modern Web UI best practices (usability, consistency, accessibility, clarity) to validate UI concepts, workflows, and interaction patterns
  • Review and challenge UI designs with Product Managers to ensure they meet enterprise expectations and Veeam standards
  • Collaborate on REST API definitions to support UI-driven use cases; assess API usability and consistency
  • Coordinate release-related activities across R&D teams to support alignment and on-time delivery
  • Research and define scope for WebUI-related features from investigation through delivery review
  • Track R&D implementation to ensure it matches goals, product strategy, and cross-team requirements
  • Maintain requirements and analysis documentation in Confluence (PRDs)
  • Use monitoring/data concepts (dashboards, KPIs, charts, trends) to turn product data into clear insights for prioritization and decisions 
What You’ll Bring 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in product analysis / product ownership / business analysis / technical product roles working closely with R&D on software products
  • Strong REST API competency: you can understand and review endpoints and entities, spot inconsistencies, and translate UI workflows into API requirements (auth basics, versioning expectations, usability)
  • Strong sense of design quality with a focus on clean and consistent UI/UX
  • Hands-on understanding of modern Web UI concepts and workflows and how enterprise users interact with complex products
  • Familiarity with monitoring/data presentation (KPIs, trends, dashboards) and ability to explain insights to stakeholders
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving; comfortable making judgment-based recommendations and owning outcomes
Technologies You’ll Work With 

Figma, AI-assisted tools (e.g., ClaudeCode and similar), Azure DevOps, Confluence 

Bonus Skills 
  • Ability to build and use a virtualization lab (e.g., VMware) to investigate component behavior independently
  • Background in backup/data protection products or enterprise infrastructure
  • Experience building WebUI-driven SaaS products; understands continuous delivery, availability, and SaaS vs on‑prem differences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering
