Procurement & Supply Chain Management Department (Houston)

The Procurement and Supply Chain Management Department (P&SCM) provides efficient, cost- effective procurement, logistics, and materials management services to Saudi Aramco. These services include purchasing, expediting, and export shipping of more than $120 million worth of materials annually to support the operations of Saudi Aramco. P&SCM also provides logistical services to Saudi Aramco's Project Management Teams and handles domestic and executive purchases.
Summer Student Materials Procurement Opportunity
Summer students will work closely with P&SCM professionals to learn the business, gain work experience, and contribute any ideas they might have.
Typical activities include:

• Work on Materials Procurement Projects
• Ensure vendors are meeting their targeted Key Performance Indicators metrics
• Participate in negotiations with suppliers and assist with expediting placed purchase orders to ensure vendor confirmed delivery dates are met and material is shipped according to Aramco specifications

Summer Student Strategic Sourcing Opportunity
Summer students will work closely with Sourcing and Supplier Relations Management (SRM) professionals on various tasks.
Typical activities include:

• Work with SRM/Sourcing contacting suppliers to register on Ariba
• Identify new companies with new technologies for sourcing
• Help with supplier registration and unit reporting

Summer Student Logistics Opportunity
Summer students will work closely with P&SCM professional to learn about our logistics operations.
Typical activities include:

• Tracking Shipments
• Assisting/checking record keeping requirements
• Auditing of records
• Data Analysis and Data Entry

Summer Student Trade Compliance Opportunity
Summer students will work closely with P&SCM professionals to learn about our Trade Compliance Operations.
Typical activities include:

• Auditing of Records & recordkeeping
• Assistance with Training
• Data Entry

Summer Student Contracting Opportunity
Summer students will work closely with P&SCM professional to learn about our contracting operations.
Typical activities include:

• Reconciling KPI Power BI Reporting vs. Actual vs. Ariba Data
• Active SP – Power BI Report 
• Research and report on potential products and use cases of AI in our Contracting activities 
• Work with Contracting Staff to participate in Contract Development activities. 
• Review and Create Contracting Examples/Go-By’s
