Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including our Global Finance Org., Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal Team, Strategy and Corporate Development Team, and People & Places Org.
Expedia Group’s Global Procurement organization, part of the broader Finance function, is seeking a Sourcing Analyst to join the Sourcing Operations team. This role supports the execution of procurement operations by partnering with stakeholders across the business and working closely with category and sub-category teams to enable efficient, accurate, and scalable sourcing outcomes.
The Sourcing Analyst contributes to operational excellence by supporting sourcing activities, participating in category engagement rhythms, and assisting with procurement processes, while continuing to build foundational sourcing and contracting capabilities.

- Participate in regular category and sub-category connects with category leads to support alignment, knowledge sharing, and execution of sourcing priorities.
- Execute tactical sourcing projects within category and sub-category areas while building category knowledge through regular engagement with category and sub-category leads.
- Support the execution and continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and documentation.
- Support contract creation and negotiation activities with guidance, including assisting with drafting and reviewing commercial terms in purchasing and service contracts, statements of work, and software order forms in collaboration with Legal and other partners.
- Conduct basic spend, contract, or activity analysis and support communication of insights or opportunities to appropriate category teams.
- Coordinate with key internal partners (e.g., Legal, Tax, Information Security, Finance) to support required administrative, governance, and compliance processes.
- Assist with sourcing project planning by supporting work plans, timelines, dependencies, and status updates.
- Execute assigned sourcing projects that are primarily transactional in nature, with exposure to larger or more complex initiatives over time.
- Support risk identification activities (financial, operational, and regulatory) by escalating potential issues to category, sub-category, legal and the business leads as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and reporting to support project and category-level visibility.
- Support additional procurement and business-related initiatives as directed by management.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in global corporate indirect procurement, sourcing, finance, operations, or a related business function (internships or rotational experience considered).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, supply chain, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and professionally in both written and verbal settings, including coordination with cross-functional stakeholders such as category managers, legal, finance, and business partners.
- Hands-on exposure to sourcing or contracting workflows within a structured corporate environment, such as participation in RFx events, supplier onboarding, contract reviews, or purchase-to-pay processes.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization, supporting multiple stakeholders or functional partners (e.g., category teams, finance, legal, operations).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with procurement systems is a plus.
