Procurement Contracts Analyst
Introduction to the Team
Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including our Global Finance Org., Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal Team, Strategy and Corporate Development Team, and People & Places Org.
The Procurement Contracts Analyst role sits within our procurement organization and supports sourcing and contracting activity across a broad range of indirect spend categories. This team partners closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to help the company buy well, manage risk, and deliver efficient, compliant procurement outcomes. In this role, you will build category knowledge, strengthen your sourcing and contracting skills, and contribute to projects that support teams across Expedia Group.
In this role, you will:
- Support sourcing projects by gathering business requirements, timelines, specifications, and constraints, and helping keep work plans and status updates on track.
- Execute transactional sourcing and contracting activities across indirect procurement categories while building deeper category knowledge through partnership with category leads.
- Assist with contract drafting, review, and negotiation support for purchasing agreements, service contracts, statements of work, and software order forms in partnership with Legal and other internal teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners including Legal, Tax, Information Security, and Finance to support governance, compliance, and approval requirements.
- Conduct basic spend, contract, and activity analysis to identify insights, risks, or opportunities and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting, escalate risks when needed, and support continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and documentation.
Experience and qualifications:
- You have 1+ year of experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, finance, operations, or a related business function; internship or rotational experience may be considered.
- You have experience working in a structured corporate environment with exposure to sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, request for proposal, request for information, request for quote, or purchase-to-pay workflows.
- You have demonstrated ability to work across a matrixed organization and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across procurement, legal, finance, operations, and business teams.
- You have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- You communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal settings and bring a customer-focused, collaborative approach to your work.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, supply chain, or related field; or equivalent related professional experience, and you are proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
