Process Sys Engrg Manager II ( Error Manager)

What's the role?As the Error Manager, Certified Snapshot & Data Value Chain Quality, you will play a central role in governing error management and quality improvement activities across HERE’s end-to-end Data Value Chain. You will partner with engineering, operations, systems, and quality teams to identify, contain, investigate, and prevent quality defects while driving continuous improvements in Certified Snapshot performance and customer experience.In this role, you will:

• Lead governance of significant quality defects identified within Certified Snapshots and production environments.
• Drive prioritization, escalation, ownership, and resolution processes for critical quality issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and corrective action programs.
• Ensure customer-reported issues and operational incidents are effectively contained, tracked, and resolved.
• Develop quality performance reporting and executive visibility into manufacturing and production quality risks.
• Monitor defect trends, recurring issues, certification outcomes, and corrective action effectiveness.
• Partner with system owners and engineering teams to strengthen preventative quality controls and error detection capabilities.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defect recurrence and improve production stability.

Who are you?You are a quality and operational excellence professional who enjoys solving complex problems, driving systematic improvements, and collaborating across diverse teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. To be successful in this role, you bring:

• Significant experience in quality engineering, operational excellence, manufacturing systems, data production, or large-scale software environments.
• Proven success leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA), corrective action, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing production issues, operational incidents, or quality programs in complex environments.
• Knowledge of quality governance frameworks, incident management practices, and operational risk management.
• Strong capabilities in Quality Management Systems, CAPA/PCA methodologies, and data quality processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and business functions.
• Strong analytical thinking and executive communication capabilities.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to driving sustainable quality improvements
