Prolec GE Waukesha is seeking a Process Specialist to help drive operational improvements across our manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, leading projects, facilitating Kaizen events, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

As a Process Specialist, you'll be a key member of our Continuous Improvement team, supporting strategic initiatives while also working hands-on with operations to investigate processes, identify opportunities, and implement sustainable improvements. The position balances project work with process analysis and improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen events that drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support CAPEX project development, justification, and implementation.
  • Conduct process audits to ensure alignment with manufacturing standards, workflows, and standard work practices.
  • Perform monthly 5S audits and partner with operations teams to drive sustainable improvements.
  • Analyze operational data, including OEE performance, cycle times, capacity utilization, and root cause investigations.
  • Support safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects across the facility.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to implement improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement experience.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and standard work principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Certification.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience using Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
