- Experience installing SQL Server and setting up test, development, staging, and production environments
- Experience creating linked servers to SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access, Informix, and other databases
- Experience designing database backup and restoration strategies using SQL Server Agent
- Experience implementing database high availability and disaster recovery, including failover clustering, database mirroring, log shipping, replication, and Always On
- Experience with physical server, database, and query performance monitoring and tuning
- Experience leading or mentoring junior database administrators
