For our financial department we are currently looking for a Process Manager Tax & Compliance who will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and continuously improving tax processes. This includes an ongoing effort to standardize and harmonize tax processes, as well as to define exception from standard processes. The manager ensures control of a tax process and proper maintenance of the system to overall improve process quality towards a defined goal.

Your Responsibility:
Taking active part in tax systems implementation projects
Standardization and harmonization of processes and efficiency improvements (RPA, new tools, ERP, participation and guidance) across the OU’s
Developing, executing and maintaining tax process improvement projects, which includes identification and evaluation of key tax risk areas
Monitoring the results of improvement projects and composes reports
Maintaining tax determination tool
Project management administration in JIRA
Resolving ad-hoc queries raised by the business regarding tax aspect of transactions
Keeping the tax master data up to date
Providing support and serve as go to contact for relevant stakeholders (e.g. Finance departments)
Ensuring compliance with local tax for their responsible process
Providing active liaison with process partners, e.g. Procurement in Purchase to Pay, Sales divisions in Order to Cash and end-to-end business as well as Controlling/S4 Finance in Record to Report
Your Skills and Expertise:
Tax knowledge on intermediate level (especially VAT and WHT)
Experience with SAP core modules, ideally with S4 HANA
Project management skills, e.g. in SAP project or business/finance project
Understanding of Finance/ Tax processes, knowledge, and experience in the configuration of SAP Finance
Ability to transfer knowledge, train others, support end-users, and drive continuous improvement in technical aspects of SAP4HANA
Graduated (Bachelor, Master or similar) in Business / Finance
Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent in English, written and spoken
Maintain a high degree of creditability, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust
Strong social competences, intercultural sensitivity and open minded / thinking out of the box approach

Nice to have:
Experience in implementation of tax tools/SAP 4HANA
