Job Description
Join a great team that leads compliance reviews for regulatory obligations for all marketing materials across various marketing channels and financial education initiatives. As an integral part to the marketing material review process, provide guidance and support to key stakeholders/ to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
As a Process Manager within Consumer Bank Marketing, you will be viewed as a subject matter expert for all applicable consumer deposit regulatory obligations and will be required to provide compliance subject matter expertise. You work well with others, exhibit keen insight, strong attention to details, uses good judgement, and has strong problem-solving skills that will be used to enhance efficiencies, manage risk, and support a strong controls environment within the first line of defense framework.
Job responsibilities
- Advise business partners on compliance requirements, providing compliance support / insights relating to the implementation of new/enhance products/services, and effectively providing compliance directional guidance and regulatory requirements
- Perform compliance monitoring and reporting activities
- Maintain current procedures documents and training materials
- Provide key support on all internal exams / audits and all federal regulatory examinations and inquiries
- Maintain a strong and highly effective working relationships with key partners within the legal and compliance organization
- Consider the audience point of view - considering all factors on who is receiving this marketing message.
- Assess regulatory impact - applying regulatory knowledge and expertise as it relates to what is possible under the law
- Work with various departmental workflow/ job management systems (i.e. Adtrax)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years' experience working with consumer deposit products marketing and business-to-business regulatory compliance / legal knowledge
- In-depth banking experience which includes strong working knowledge of advertising/marketing creative and content development practices
- Knowledge of various marketing channels such as direct mail, e-mail, digital and social media
- Expert knowledge of consumer-focused deposit regulations
- Strong familiarity with other consumer protection and deposit regulations at both state and federal levels
- Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude while simultaneously leading multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity within a fast-paced, results driven environment.
- Excellent decision maker with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to build relationships based on trust and open communication while working within and supporting a strong team-centric environment
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills.
- Bachelor's degree
