A Process Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing the PVC extrusion manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, quality, and productivity. Responsible for designing and implementing process improvements, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.

 What Success Looks Like: 

  • Interact with Production line personnel to determine process problem areas.
  • Identify equipment that reduces costs and improves productivity, quality and safety.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to address scrap reduction and change over efficiencies, along w/ quality and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-plant teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical support to production teams and assist in troubleshooting production-related problems.
  • Participate in new product development and scale-up activities, including process design and equipment selection.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to process engineering.

 What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; applicable work experience will be considered.
  • At least two years of relevant Engineering experience, preferably within an extrusion manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing flows & processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid proficiency with a variety of computer systems and software applications, including CAD and MS Office.
  • Sold professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated use of statistical controls and GD&T, related to quality.
  • Solid knowledge of OSHA safety standards and 6S processes.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

The salary range for this position is $68K to $101K with bonus potential.
