SUMMARY

The Process Engineer is responsible for development of process control, manufacturing documentation, and process improvement activities. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Represents the company’s quality system to media, government agencies, funding agencies, customers, and the public
  • Provide sustaining engineering support for manufacturing floor as required
  • Assists in the development of manufacturing methods
  • Supports product and improvement projects
  • Receives instructions on assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions
  • Receives/solicits guidance on unusual and/or complex problems and supervisory approval on work plans
  • Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary by their manager
  • Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
  • Performs other related duties assigned
  • Prepares manufacturing documentation and conducts initial review of critical customer requirements
  • Coordinates with programming department in fixture design and creation
  • Generates Shop Inspection Reports in conjunction with Manufacturing Plans
  • Support customer needs in Computer Aided Design

Requirements

REQUIRED 

  • 3 to 10 years of progressive technical experience
  • Relevant industry experience
