Responsibilities:


Process Engineering:

Create and maintain all Camcraft process prints utilizing CAD software.

Design of custom tooling, gauging, and fixturing utilizing CAD software.

Facilitate required meetings in accordance with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).

Process and maintain all Engineering Change Orders.

Drive Process Optimization and Process Efficiency efforts

Participate and lead Automation/Optimization of Process Engineering Tasks

Create templates, work Instructions and S.O.P's (Standard Operating Procedures).

Other Engineering duties as assigned.


Program management:

Keeping programs on schedule through timelines, action items, and accountability. 

Interacting with customers’ engineering, scheduling, purchasing and quality personnel.

Developing handling / packaging requirements.

Interacting / .developing subcontract services.

Customer / Vendor visits.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience                         

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills                                  

Solidworks or Equivalent (capability to be proficient with Solidworks in less than a month).

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-4 years related experience or equivalent
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent (ability to become proficient within a month)
  • Experience creating and maintaining CAD process prints and designing tooling, gauging, and fixturing
  • Knowledge/experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and facilitating related meetings
  • Experience managing Engineering Change Orders and process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, templates)
  • Experience driving process optimization, efficiency, and automation initiatives
