Job Description:At Regions, the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Leader is responsible for leading a team of Wealth and/or Trust Advisors in obtaining profitable results, growing revenue, new business development, expense management while ensuring sound risk practices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstrates expertise of the overall Private Wealth Business Model and creates an Area- specific business plan designed to meet and exceed client needs, meet financial budgets, while concurrently enhancing PWM brand awareness in their local market
- Ensures the execution of Perpetual Discovery, Pre and Post call plans, celebrating critical wins and championing accountability of key operating principles with the foundation of Client Planning in every circumstance
- Champions the recruitment and retention of top talent
- Effectively manages expenses, always striving for the most efficient approach to business operations
- Responsible for oversight of the advisory team, and meeting targets including: internal and external referrals, Regions360 and QHH growth, Revenue Growth, COI development
- Creates individual advisor assessment plans and implements specific guidelines that describe the responsibilities, performance standards and individual development goals for each member of the advisory team
- Participates in and observes client interactions of each advisor and provides timely feedback through tailored coaching sessions
- Proactively mitigates all risks to the Area’s business including, but not limited to the following risk types: Compliance Risk, Credit Risk, Legal Risk, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, and Reputational Risk
- Ensures that all advisor activities are conducted in accordance with the guidelines of all applicable rules and regulations pertinent to the financial services industry
- Monitors the performance of the advisory team by leveraging a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, and sales updates
- Develops the team through motivation, coaching, skills development/training, and product knowledge
- Advises senior management on maximizing business and partnership relationships and creates an environment where client experience and associate experience can flourish
- Typically manages a mid-size to large advisor team, providing oversight for associated customer relationships, revenue, and territories
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
