Northrop Grumman Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on-site on Whiteman, AFB MO. supporting the B2 Program.
Essential Functions:
Perform as a Principal Logistics Management Analyst providing Line Replaceable Units (LRU’s) support and coordination for both Lab and Fleet units
Receipt and issue directly with the Air Force customer, shipping and communication with commercial vendors
Act as a focal point for all Government & Customer furnished equipment
Inventory, accountability, shipping and receiving of all assets associated with Northrop Grumman at Whiteman AFB
Airfield (Flightline) and warehouse movement of large heavy assets using oversized vehicles and lifting equipment. Forklift, HD truck, trailer
Perform normal day shift operations with the ability to adapt to unique situations outside normal duty hours.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 8 Years OR a Bachelors with 4 years OR 2 Years with Masters with experience in Logistics Management
Experience within Logistics, Property Management, and/or Procurement
Basic understanding of logistic elements; supportability, maintainability, and logistics support
Able to meet the physical demands of this position, including regular requirement to lift up to 150 pounds (2 person lift) and work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle large equipment items and boxes
Ability to acquire flightline driver’s license and forklift license
Basic understanding of security practices pertaining to transfer and movement of classified assets
Must be a US Citizen and have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate must understand the various aspects of Logistics, Property Management and Procurement
Strong understanding of Material Management/Supply Chain Databases (SAP S4 Hana)
Experience leading equipment life-cycle management efforts
Microsoft Office Suite experience
Familiar with parts information, tools, and data research
B2 Program Access Clearance
