Job Description:
Our Solution Engineering division is seeking a skilled verification expert who is a lead-by-doing role to join our diverse team. This includes leading a team of verification engineers and developing testbenches and test suites. Arm's hardware is at the heart of the computing and connectivity revolution that continues to transform the way people live and businesses operate. As we continue to grow, we need talented engineers responsible for the development of products across Enterprise, Auto and Client markets.
Responsibilities:
  • Accountable to deliver the quality required for each release of our products.
  • Establish and maintain verification architecture, and ensure the DV teams' work aligns to this vision
  • Writing and reviewing test plans, defining test methodologies, and completing functional verification to the required quality levels and schedules.
  • Collaborate with others in architecture, design, verification, and build a functional verification strategy.
  • Develop IP features which enable reconfigurable designs.
  • Partner with design to review Microarchitectural specifications and debug issues.
  • Act as 1-Arm ensuring the best solutions are what Arm uses.

What you bring:
In addition to your accomplishment of Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or a similar related field and experience working in verification of complex subsystems or SoCs, you should bring experience in:
  • Verification stages: requirements collection, test plan creation, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation and support.
  • Front-end verification tools - Dynamic simulation tools, Static Simulation tools, UPF, and Debuggers, Questa, VCS, Jasper Gold, Verdi
  • Coverage - Functional, Toggle, Code
  • Reconfigurable IP / Subsystem design
  • Collaboration

"Nice To Have but Highly Desired" Skills and Experience:
  • Object-oriented programming concepts
  • ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures
  • OTP/Fuse usage models and JTAG/TAP protocols
  • Perl, Python or other scripting language
  • SoC system debug methodologies
  • DFT methodologies: RTL testability, scan insertion, OCC

Salary Range:
$249,900-$338,100 per year

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience verifying complex subsystems or systems-on-chip
  • Experience collecting requirements, creating test plans, implementing testbenches, developing test cases, documenting verification, and providing support
  • Experience with dynamic and static simulation tools, UPF, and debuggers
  • Experience with Questa, VCS, Jasper Gold, and Verdi
  • Experience with functional, toggle, and code coverage
  • Experience with reconfigurable IP or subsystem design
  • Collaboration experience across architecture, design, verification, and engineering teams
  • Object-oriented programming concepts
  • Experience with ARM-based designs or ARM System Architectures
  • Experience with OTP/Fuse usage models and JTAG/TAP protocols
