A Day in the LifeThe Project Management function partners across business units and enabling functions to drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and business transformation programs. This team leads cross-functional projects, establishes governance and execution frameworks, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organizational objectives.This position is based in Singapore and follows an onsite work model.
The Principal Business Process Project Management Specialist leads large-scale, cross-functional projects and business process initiatives that support organizational priorities. This role serves as a key liaison among project teams, business stakeholders, and leadership, providing project governance, execution oversight, risk management, and process improvement expertise to achieve project objectives and business outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead complex cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, governance frameworks, and performance metrics to support successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing corrective actions when needed to maintain project objectives.
- Partner with business leaders, functional teams, and key stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, resource requirements, and success measures.
- Prepare and deliver project status updates, budget reviews, executive summaries, and other reporting materials to stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitate problem-solving activities and drive resolution of project issues impacting quality, delivery, productivity, or stakeholder satisfaction.
- Establish mechanisms for project monitoring, process optimization, and continuous improvement to enhance project execution effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members and less experienced professionals while supporting a collaborative project environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant project management, program management, business process improvement, or related experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional projects through the full project lifecycle from planning to implementation.
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.
- Experience influencing and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and reporting practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-wide business process transformation, operational excellence, or strategic improvement initiatives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other recognized project management credential.
- Experience developing project governance frameworks, performance metrics, and portfolio reporting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement solutions to moderately complex business challenges.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries such as medical technology, healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing.
