This role serves as a key technical contributor within our OneStream application team, offering high visibility across multiple phases of future development. It encompasses both strategic initiatives and the ongoing administration and support of the OneStream platform. Core responsibilities include designing and maintaining OneStream business rules, developing financial reports, and building new applications to meet stakeholder needs. The position also involves providing administrative support for financial close, account reconciliation, planning, and forecasting processes.
This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the finance and accounting organization. It plays a critical part in shaping our evolving business structure and processes, with the potential to grow into a leadership position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, working closely with user groups to identify opportunities for improvement and delivering effective solutions through the OneStream platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain OneStream business rules
- Manage all areas of OneStream including support and enhancements based on improved business processes or new requirements.
- Run all aspects of OneStream including, but not limited to, hierarchies, business rules, workflows, dashboards, reporting views/packages, security and documentation of processes and procedures.
- Provide internal control governance (including SOX requirements), documentation and coordination with internal and external auditors as it relates to system access and change management.
- Develop and maintain various reporting solutions (OneStream XF Cube Views and Excel Add-in) as needed by Accounting and Finance teams.
- Create, maintain, and update financial reports and forms
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the OneStream system.
- Manage integrations and data quality processes (validations, mappings, transformations, confirmations) from source systems (SAP, Workday, etc.) in OneStream XF
- Provide support for users and maintain system protocols in troubleshooting data validation, access, and reporting issues.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in financial system administration/implementation, along with a strong background in accounting and finance
- 5+ years in OneStream
- The ability to create and support OneStream Business Rules
- Strong VB.Net skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Understanding of OneStream financial accounting processes and reporting for month-end close, account reconciliation, and Budgeting/Forecasting
- Understanding of Audit / SOX requirements
- Experience supporting an OneStream application in a large and complex multi-national consolidation environment.
- Knowledge of Rest API, SAP, and/or Workday integration preferred not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Work independently as well as in a team environment.
