The Pricing Program Specialist will enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of WWT in the marketplace by driving improved pricing and quoting support. Partnership with Sales teams will be a key success factor as you help redesign processes and manage all pricing rules within the Pricing Intelligence Engine (PIE).
Key Responsibilities
As a Pricing Program Specialist, you will:
- Set up and maintain all pricing rules within the Pricing Intelligence Engine (PIE).
- Partner closely with Sales teams to review operational processes, identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities, and help troubleshoot, investigate, and implement solutions for identified issues.
- Provide guidance to Sellers in support of pricing margin goals and recommendations when discussing the entry of pricing rules into the Price Engine.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Pricing Team by managing system issues, bug fixes, and feature releases in collaboration with IT teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support the development, testing, and rollout of enhanced processes and tools.
- Work closely with the Pricing Manager to establish control processes that reinforce pricing guardrails and support business objectives.
- Provide reporting to Sales and Pricing Leadership on price rule profitability, upcoming expirations, rule usage, and adherence.
- Support the collection and maintenance of Deal Registration program data in Vartopia.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the technology industry, or an equivalent combination of experience in process improvement or pricing within a sales environment.
- Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
- Positive attitude with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Skills Required
